MEET THE 2025/2026 AGBALANZE ONITSHA USA SCHOLARSHIP ICT STUDENTS

Agbalanze Onitsha USA (AOUSA) is proud to announce that 20 Onitsha youth are currently enrolled in the AOUSA Scholarship Foundation Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program in Onitsha. These students are set to graduate in March 2026, marking another milestone in the organization’s commitment to empowering young people through education.

Since its inception, AOUSA’s scholarship initiatives have trained a total of 50 Onitsha youth in ICT, providing them with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age.

In addition to ICT training, the AOUSA Scholarship Program is currently supporting five Onitsha indigenes pursuing education in various Nursing Schools across Anambra State.

AOUSA recognizes that education is the cornerstone of community development. By equipping young people with knowledge and skills, the organization helps to unlock economic opportunities and personal growth. In 2022, AOUSA established the Agbalanze Onitsha USA Scholarship Foundation (AOUSASF) to fund a scholarship program that provides financial support for economically disadvantaged Onitsha youth at all levels of formal education.

The AOUSASF scholarship program typically covers full tuition, educational supplies, textbooks, and computers, ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed.

The impact of the scholarship program has been widely recognized. On April 19, 2025, during the Celebration of OIU @100, the Onitsha Improvement Union (OIU) honored AOUSA with the 2025 Community Service Award, acknowledging the organization’s significant contribution to providing high-quality educational training for Onitsha youth.

AOUSA expresses sincere gratitude to its members and the public for their generous financial support, which ensures the scholarship program continues to train Onitsha youth and prepare them to compete in today’s highly competitive technological landscape.
